While video tutorials can't replace live classes, where available, they do have the advantage that the student can watch the technique over and over as many times as needed. I also undertook the immense time-consuming task of adding sub-titles to the tutorials so that they would be accessible to the deaf who would have difficulty following even in a live workshop. Once each series of tutorials is completed they are uploaded to Udemy.

These videos require a great deal of time, effort and expense and like all artists I still need to pay my rent and bills. That is where Patreon comes in. Both my computer and my tablet are on the brink of death and if they die it will put the whole project in jeopardy and I simply can't afford to replace them.

Since starting this project, by God's grace, I am now working on the 19th tutorial and there are currently four series available on Udemy. It is such a blessing to be able to see students progress as the work diligently on the assignments. ​

I've decided to make a distinction in the rewards between Students and Supporters so that Patrons can choose the rewards that suit them best.I have added a $25 level for students who will have access to the time-lapse sketch videos that will become a regular feature and help to show the process of drawing.
I have also added a $50 level for Students who will be given a monthly drawing assignment that I will critique and correct. As it is impossible for me to answer everyone's questions about iconography, this tier will be limited to 5 places  and the critique commentary will only concern the homework assignments.
I may in future add a further exclusive level for advice and critique on Patron's personal work depending on the demand.

The first of my Patreon Iconography Tutorials has been uploaded! This is a series of tutorials that begins from the basics of the line and will progress to painting in tetrachrome and underpainting techniques. The purpose of these tutorials is to make iconography lessons available to those who can't afford or don't have access to workshops. However, making these tutorials requires an enormous amount of time, materials, equipment and effort, and like all artists, I still need to pay the bills and rent. That is where Patreon comes in .
